Untitled Poem
It trickled down
Rained upon me
Like the droplets
From the soggy tree
Canopied above
It soaked into me
Like the warmth
From the sun
Bronzing my skin
Tinting me, tainting me
And it remained
Like the freckles
That sprouted on my skin
Making a home, moving in
Magnified, Intensified
A part of me
I couldn’t separate
Isolate
Like Tori said, a divorced cloud
Can’t separate the rain
